Benefits of online practice

  • Location-independent: You don't have to travel any distance and thus save valuable time. No matter where you are in the world, I'm here for you.

  • No waiting times: Get a consultation appointment quickly and get started without months of waiting.

  • Easy access: Many people find it difficult to start psychotherapy . With online therapy, the psychotherapist comes virtually to your home.

  • Effective: Numerous studies show that psychological online counseling is just as effective as on-site treatment

Three Pillars Approach

The Three Pillar Model of Attachment Treatment, developed by Dr. Daniel P. Brown and David S. Elliot, PhD, is a comprehensive approach to treating attachment disturbances. The model focuses on three pillars that support each other in an integrated and holistic approach, leading to profound change and the development of a secure attachment pattern.

The Ideal Parent Figure Protocol is at the core of this approach, which involves guided imagination inspired by Tibetan Buddhist meditation techniques. This protocol helps individuals imagine their ideal parents who embody the qualities that create a secure attachment pattern. By repeatedly experiencing positive attachment experiences, new neural pathways develop in the brain, leading to the development of a new, secure attachment pattern.

My therapeutic approach

My work is based on the humanistic image of man, which sees people as meaningful, creative, self-developing and relationship-oriented beings.

It is my concern to integrate cross-school advisory, psychological approaches and current scientific knowledge on the basis of the humanistic image of man.

The human being is the focus of my work. I use everything I've learned to offer you the best possible companionship.

About me

I studied psychology at the University of Tübingen and am currently undergoing further training at the ZIST Academy for Psychotherapy. With numerous additional qualifications in systemic therapy, hypnotherapy, Gestalt therapy, NLP and attachment therapy, I am now broadly positioned and focused on the treatment of attachment disorders in adults. I have the honor of bringing the "Three Pillars Approach" to Germany as a teaching psychotherapist.

At the Milton Erickson Society for Clinical Hypnotherapy, I conduct training in the treatment of attachment disorders with hypnotherapy. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a consultant in business and accompanied large change management projects.

In addition to my passion for psychotherapy, I have a strong interest in meditation practice and the Dharma. I started Vipassana meditation according to N.S. Goenka and mindfulness practice 15 years ago. For 10 years I have been practicing Mahayana and Vajrayana, the last years especially Mahamudra and Dzogchen with Daniel P. Brown and Dustin Di Perna.

My trainings: Hypnotherapy, NLP therapy, behavioral therapy, depth psychological psychotherapy, attachment therapy(Three Pillars), systemic therapy, EMDR, integrative therapy.

Procedure of the online psychological counseling

We start with a free 15-minute meeting to get to know each other. In this I listen to your concerns and we clarify the general conditions. To book one, just click on the button. My office hours for a get-to-know-you conversation are Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 am and Wednesday from 3:00 - 5:00 pm (UTC-2).

The initial consultation lasts 100 minutes. There we have time to get to know each other, to assess your attachment patterns and to discuss the next steps together.

The subsequent counseling sessions usually last 50 minutes, but double sessions are also possible if needed. Many clients opt for a weekly rhythm, but it can be adjusted individually depending on the situation.

Online counseling takes place on a fixed date in a protected video call. You will receive the access data after booking an appointment.

IMPORTANT: Currently I only accompany clients over a longer period of at least 10 sessions.

Mr. Passvogel is friendly, empathetic and direct. He has extensive knowledge and experience in a wide variety of therapeutic procedures. He is very solution-oriented and can therefore achieve quick success. Only to be recommended!

Reimbursement by the health insurance companies

The treatment of attachment patterns is currently not supported by statutory health insurance. Many clients book the treatment as a supplement to their outpatient psychotherapy, after primary care for further treatment, or independently of psychotherapy for further personality development or self-awareness.

For private patients and self-payers:

Cost coverage: private health insurance companies usually cover the costs of online psychotherapy with us in full or on a pro-rata basis, depending on the individual insurance contract.

The fees are based on the GOÄ (German scale of fees for physicians). The costs for a session of 50 minutes are between 100 € and 153 €. Depending on the individual insurance contract, a private co-payment may be required in some cases.

To be absolutely sure which costs your health insurance will cover, it is best to call your private health insurance or aid.

The first 5 sessions are the so-called "probationary sessions", which can be carried out without an application to the payer. From the 6th session on, an application to the private health insurance company or aid for civil servants is usually required, which we will gladly take over for you.

As a self-payer, the billing of your online appointments is most uncomplicated. No application for cost coverage is necessary and the health insurance company is not involved in any way. If necessary, the appointments can be billed as psychological counseling or coaching, which can also be tax deductible if it is related to your profession.

For those with statutory health insurance: Since we work in a private practice, it is unfortunately not usually possible for costs to be covered by statutory insurance companies. However, you are welcome to make an appointment with us as a self-payer.
